Commencement 2010 set for May 12 at Yankee Stadium

Commencement of the NYU class of 2010 will be held on May 12 at Yankee Stadium, according to an announcement at today's University Senate meeting. In years past, commencement has been held in Wash. Square Park, but because of recent construction, it has been held at Yankee Stadium for the past two years. The ceremony is usually held on May 11, but was rearranged this year because of the baseball team's schedule, said Lynne Brown, senior vice president for university relations and public affairs.
