United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon (center) attended last night’s commemorative event. The Secretary-General, together with designer Kenneth Cole, helped dim the lights on the park’s Arch to represent “the shadow that falls when the rights of people with HIV and AIDS are forgotten,” as Cole said.
