After looking past the cracked walls and peeling paint, you might find a unique, homey quality in Brittany residence hall. With a penthouse study lounge, a game room with a pool table and piano and dance rooms, Brittany is well-equipped for its residents.

Housing Guide 2010

Brittany's location is prime — while not right on top of the frenzy of Washington Square Park and the swarm of students running frantically to their morning classes, the hall is close enough to the university's center so that you can walk to class before freezing to death on cold mornings. If you're lucky enough to have a corner room facing Broadway, you will have a fantastic view of the beautiful Grace Church. Don't worry though, the bells aren't loud enough to wake you up.

Aside from haunted hallways (yes there's a ghost), Brittany is also known for its massive spring Sextravaganza event, which combines sex education with fun events that have previously included a burlesque dance workshop and "Pin the Penis on the Greek God."

And if that didn't convince you Brittany is one of the least inexpensive. The price is not much more than the low-cost triples in Rubin and you will have tons of extra space, and maybe even an extra closet.
