Palladium residence hall

Living in Palladium residence hall is a great choice if location and amenities are primary concerns. The rooms are simple and small, and may feel less homey than those at nearby Co-ral. The rooms at Palladium are typical dorm-style, but the spacious common rooms are perfect for any type of small get-together.

The building is in a prime location. For an upperclassman dorm, the 10 to 15-minute walk is relatively good, and the 3-second walk to the gym and dining hall easily makes up for the distance. When it’s cold outside it’s great to be able to stay inside and still enjoy a balanced meal or a good workout. All of Palladium’s amenities — the Wasserman Center for Career Development, gym, dining hall — allow for productivity without leaving the building.

Palladium is also close to Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods and Food Emporium, making it easy to stock the compact kitchen. But beware, the worst part of living in Palladium is the ID card-activated doors — the benefit of not having to carry a key is quickly mitigated by the finicky locks. Sometimes the doors accept the code with no issue, while at others they fail to open after several attempts.
