Third Avenue North residence hall is everything an NYU freshman wants out of the college experience: It’s the perfect balance of campus life and New York City culture. Located on Third Avenue between 11th and 12th streets, the building’s bland exterior belies its comfortable interior.
I'm glad I got 3N. I would've died without a kitchen.
Best part The location was really good, really close to St. Mark's (which was great for yoga or food or whatever else). And having a kitchen was really nice, something that other freshman dorms don't have.
Worst part It was really noisy and like any freshman dorm, it was really a freshman dorm. "Drunk" people being annoying in the hallways and stuff like that. The dining hall is absolutely terrible. The RA's are horrible, but the security guards were usually pretty chill.
