Nyu students gathered in the basement of St. Joseph’s Church to attend a weekly student run class ‘Practicing Islam in the Big Apple.’ The class was started by senior Sahal Kango, and Sophomore Noor Zafar. It is a discussion-based class that combines religious teachings with issues relevant to the lives of students who practice Islam. This week’s discussion topic was on charity.
