We deliver the news to you two ways — in your hands and on your browser. This summer, we've overhauled both of those experiences.
First, we've redesigned our print edition. The new look, designed by our creative director Guido Ditto, is a distinct break from what we've done in the past. Among the many changes, some of the biggest are our new font (Gotham, for you typography geeks out there) and our new flag (a.k.a. the logo, or paper's name), which has migrated from the traditional, across-the-top position to the left rail. We hope you like the changes; we definitely do.
Our second update is online. Since the beginning of this year we've been building a new nyunews.com. After months of planning and programming, we went live last week. Built by our director of technology Michael Strickland, the new site is miles ahead of what we've been able to achieve online in the past. With new interactive features, blogs and multimedia, it's got our inner dork pretty excited. Be sure to check out our new, interactive campus crime map (nyunews.com/crime), and don't forget to sign up for our daily newsletter. Oh, and yeah, we tweet: @nyunews.
These changes allow us to do what we've always done — bring great journalism to the NYU community — better. Take a look.
