Tosia Spring/Summer 2016

A grand outdoor terrace perfectly complemented the cloudy blues and ivories of Tosia’s Spring/Summer 2016 presentation. Designer Sara Hankin was recently inspired by Morocco’s French heritage, which was apparent in smoking jackets and lined patterns. The Tosia brand rides on the idea of a modern take on easy luxury, an aesthetic present in sharp shoulders and waist lines balanced with wide-legged pants and simply ruffled sleeves. Moroccan hardware accents the pockets with hammered grommets, giving the pieces a rustic, artisanal feel. Traditional Moroccan style of the caftan dress was also incorporated into the clothing in the fluid nature of skirts and sleeves.
