The Research Issue

Research is contemplation in action. Although it can involve extensive reading and long hours in the lab, it is not a passive activity — research is the pursuit of information to better the world we live in. At NYU, the title “research university” is taken seriously, as research initiatives exist in every department and contribute to the collective knowledge of the academic sphere.

The Research Issue aims to expose our readers to the cutting-edge initiatives our community is spearheading and display the ways in which students can get involved and develop their own investigations.
