The Love & Sex Feature

Andrew HeyingLaura Shkouratoff

As Valentine’s Day quickly approaches once again, without anyone ever really asking it to, the time has arrived for another Valentine’s Day special here at WSN. Love is hard in college, and the city only makes it harder. Some students struggle with distance across oceans, while others have the added frustrations that oftentimes come along with varying sexual identities. We’ve heard our fair share of Tinder romances too or classroom crushes that slowly become something more. This holiday is arguably not meant for college-aged twenty-somethings, but we all somehow get through, nostalgic for the good ole days of coming home from elementary school with a bag full of dutifully written cards and candy.

So, whether your plans for this Valentine’s Day are a normal Wednesday as usual, a romantic date – props to you – or a night out with your friends, we hope that you enjoy reading and watching our take on everything love – from one of our writers asking strangers out to the perfect plans for an evening alone. We’re also excited to promote WSN’s new sex advice column, where two of our staff’s self-proclaimed “sexperts” take on some pretty grody questions. Grab yourself a glass of wine and some chocolate hearts: it’s going to be a good one.
