Hispanic Heritage Month is from Sept. 15 to Aug. 15 and is proudly celebrated by Hispanics throughout the U.S. For me, celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month this year will be different because for the first time in 18 years, I will not be in a city that is predominately Hispanic.
