After a successful start last year, the Meadows Music and Arts Festival put on its sophomore three-day weekend festival in the parking lot of Citi Field in Flushing from Sept. 15-17. Expanding the musical lineup from last year’s predominant showcase of rap artists to span across a number of genres, the festival drew thousands of people to the edge of Queens for an impressive array of artists and a smorgasbord of food vendors. WSN got the chance to sit down with a few of these performers to talk about their music, life and what we can expect from them soon. Take a look at some of the visual highlights from the weekend and our interviews with LÉON, Youngr, St. Paul and the Broken Bones, Dreamers and Antibalas.
