NYU graduates and their family and friends came out once again to partake in the senior-exclusive Grad Alley, an annual event meant to celebrate and congratulate graduates with one last NYU party. Spanning several blocks along Washington Square Park South, the event had something for everyone, students, friends and alumni alike.

The amount of food and drinks seemed endless, with snack stations every few feet. Other highlights included magicians, stations to take photos with NYU’s mascot, mimes, a stage for opera, and music from the university Pep Band and the Steinhardt jazz ensemble. NYU seniors were excited to finally enjoy the Grad Alley festivities.

“It’s nice to see the color purple taking over the village. We have a lot of space for the event, and we’re getting to show everyone how excited we are to graduate” said Steinhardt senior Alden Harris-McCoy, who performed in the NYU Pep Band. “It’s an exciting time to watch everyone pass by so happily.”
